About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our re-hire team to ensure all business between customers and our company is carried out in an efficient and effective manner.

The Role

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for improving the value and reducing the risk of our supply chain. You will provide an in-depth knowledge of supply and demand, market analysis, and application of effective procurement techniques to enable the business to make informed procurement decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of supplier engagement, negotiate supplier proposals, and monitor our overall supplier spend versus rate charged.
  • Provide commercial acumen and effective negotiation skills to drive performance within the team.
  • Lead the team to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Significant experience and success working within a Supply Chain Manager role.
  • Solid commercial acumen and effective negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance within the team.
  • An effective communicator with exceptional customer service and influencing skills.
  • Proven analytical skills and proficiency in completing supplier agreements.
