Mental Health and Safeguarding Lead

The Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to lead their Mental Health and Safeguarding team in Reigate, Surrey.
About the Role:
- Providing strategic leadership to the Mental Health and Safeguarding team.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to mental health and safeguarding.
- Coordinating and facilitating training programs for staff on mental health and safeguarding best practices.
- Liaising with other departments and external agencies to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of mental health and safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Providing guidance and support to staff members on mental health and safeguarding matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Mental Health and Safeguarding team.
- Develop and implement mental health and safeguarding strategies and plans.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve mental health and safeguarding objectives.
- Ensure timely and effective response to mental health and safeguarding concerns.
- Provide training and support to staff on mental health and safeguarding best practices.
Requirements:
- A degree in social work or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mental health and safeguarding or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Estimated Salary: £59,000 - £69,000 per annum based on location and experience.
