About the Role

  • As a Claims Executive, you will be the key liaison between clients and insurers, ensuring claims are administered according to expected standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manages assigned projects and contributes to other projects as needed.
  • Provides relevant management information to senior management.
  • Maintains delegated authority contracts efficiently.
  • Creates comprehensive claims documents.
  • Presents claims to underwriters, handling queries and responding appropriately.
  • Reviews correspondence regarding notifications and claims to ensure products meet client risk requirements.
  • Liaises with third parties as necessary.
  • Interprets instructions and implements actions according to policies and procedures.
  • Stays informed of legal and regulatory developments relevant to the division.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Previous claims-based experience is advantageous but not crucial.
  • Good knowledge of the claims-handling process.
  • Awareness of the regulatory environment and requirements.
  • Highly organised, with good planning skills.
  • Able to adapt to change positively.
