About the Role

Adecco, in partnership with Bentley Motors, is seeking a skilled Engineer to join the Prototype & Workshop Planning team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for end-to-end planning and delivery of R&D development vehicle build and vehicle update projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Defining, planning, and steering projects to meet customer expectations.
  • Creating plans and agreeing delivery models with stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing risks to ensure project success.
  • Allocating and securing resource commitments to meet project requirements.
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Solving problems that interfere with project progress.
  • Controlling costs within approved budgets.
  • Leading project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Informing stakeholders and senior management of project progress.
  • Delivering project deliverables and benefits on time.
About the Person

The successful candidate will have experience in Engineering and/or Project planning roles. You will demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • Understanding of vehicle components and their packaging requirements.
  • Ability to plan strategically and tactically to meet customer demand.
  • Understanding of Engineering, Production, LQC processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work within a team and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Communication, preparation, and presentation skills.
The Function

The Whole Vehicle Prototype & Workshops Planning team is responsible for developing strategic and tactical plans to deliver prototypes, simulators, press, and media vehicles and development activities. The team succeeds by understanding customer needs, translating needs into in-house and external build plans, and building strong working relationships with Engineering Functions and Group Platform partners.
