Job Title: Concepts Design Engineer


Job Summary:

Adecco UK Limited is seeking a talented Concepts Design Engineer to join their dynamic team on a Fixed Term Contract basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and refining concepts for new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Concept Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine concepts for new products, ensuring they meet customer needs and industry trends.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and market analysis to identify design trends and customer needs, informing design decisions and product development.
  • Design and Prototyping: Create visual representations and prototypes of design concepts using CAD software and other relevant tools, testing and evaluating prototypes to ensure functionality and feasibility of design.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to refine concepts and ensure smooth transition to production, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and creativity in product design and development.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in design engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in concept development and design, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Passion for Innovation: Passion for innovation and staying abreast of industry trends, with a desire to drive creativity and excellence in product design and development.
