Job Title: Head of Technical Due Diligence Insurance ClaimsAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Technical Due Diligence Insurance Claims to join our team at Compre Group. As a key member of our M&A team, you will be responsible for leading technical due diligence on insurance claims, evaluating risk in books of business, and developing a team to support this process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical evaluation of re/insurance portfolios in due diligence
  • Assess claims management processes, case reserve setting practices, and settlement practices
  • Manage suppliers as part of the claim value chain to assess ALAE provisions
  • Engage with actuarial reserving, including use of specific IBNRs
  • Develop portfolio diagnostics and dashboards to support efficient due diligence processes
  • Contribute to the identification of risks in new deals and develop a DD plan to mitigate these risks
  • Support the development of a targeted claims management plan and prepare detailed technical DD reports
Requirements
  • Right to work in the location
  • High-quality claims experience in multiple insurance classes, with an emphasis on casualty/liability
  • Exceptional data analytical skills, including the ability to analyze varying datasets quickly and effectively
  • Strong report writing skills and commercial acumen
  • Independent thinking and willingness to develop experience in new exposures
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and/or building a new team
