  • This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-standing team as a Quantity Surveyor, working on infrastructure projects and delivering end-to-end control systems.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at P Ducker Systems Ltd. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of NEC Contracts and excellent IT skills, including Excel and Word.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate client contract terms
  • Manage and administer client contracts, including change management and supplier payment applications
  • Supply-chain contract management, drafting and negotiating subcontracts, and mitigating risks
  • Project support, collaborating with project teams to resolve commercial issues and provide guidance on contract interpretation

Requirements:

  • Appropriate degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
  • Membership in a relevant professional body is desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of NEC suite of contracts (NEC3 & NEC4) and construction and contract law
  • Excellent IT competency, including Excel and Word
  • Strong client and supplier communication and negotiation skills
