We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team in providing 2:1 assistance to a young lady with complex care needs.
About the Role:This is a part-time role available for up to 30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the individual. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the individual's family, therapy team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 2:1 support to the individual with complex care needs, including assistance with daily living activities, health care, and medical needs.
- Work in collaboration with the individual's family, therapy team, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a personalized care plan.
- Assist the individual with their hobbies and interests, promoting independence and social interaction.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in complex care and medical needs.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs, including suctioning and manual handling.
- Confident driver with a valid license and access to a WAV vehicle.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
