Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to assist a 19-year-old young lady with autism and learning disabilities in the Scarborough area. The successful candidate will provide personal care, support with daily activities, and accompany her on outings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with daily activities
- Accompany the young lady on outings, including walks, swimming, and cafe visits
- Support her with meal preparation and social activities
- Transport her to and from appointments and activities
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
- Ability to provide personal care and support with daily activities
- Full UK driving license and own personal car
- Safe administration of medication and epilepsy awareness
Working Hours
Casual/ad-hoc hours with flexibility, including occasional weekends and school holidays. From September, we are also seeking support workers to provide wrap-around college care at home on a 1:1 basis, Monday to Friday, 8am-9:30am and pm (3.5 hours per day).
Pay and Benefits
£14.30 per hour, with opportunities for flexible working and career development.
