Support Worker for Young Lady in Scarborough Area

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support a 19-year-old young lady with autism and learning disabilities in the Scarborough area.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide 1:2 care and engage in activities at home and out and about, including swimming and visiting cafes.

The young lady requires support with personal care and has epilepsy and incontinence requirements. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with swimming and accepting of dogs.

Hours are casual/ad-hoc with flexibility, and we welcome applications from individuals looking to build a bank of hours.

From September, we are also seeking a Personal Assistant to provide wrap-around college care on a 1:1 basis, Monday to Friday, 8am-9:30am and 3:30-5:30pm.

Pay rate is £14.30 per hour. EXCEPTION UNDER THE EQUALITY ACT: The post is only open to female applicants due to the personal assistance required.
