Financial Controller

Eventus Recruitment Cheshire is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee the management and oversight of all financial operations for our client, a leading organization in the property sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the effective financial control and reporting, including the preparation of quarterly board reports and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legal requirements while supporting the leadership team in strategic financial planning.
- Manage cashflow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and capital expenditure.
- Oversee the organization's borrowing, investments, and cash balances in line with the Treasury Management Strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong financial control systems to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of experience in a senior financial management role, ideally within the housing or charity sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budget management, cashflow forecasting, and financial compliance.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and familiarity with CRM software.
