About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our team in the Barnsley area. As a key member of our field-based retail merchandising team, you will work with high street retailers on behalf of leading household name brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.
  • Implement merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies, and health and safety guidance.
  • Arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
Requirements
  • Experience of merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to find solutions.
  • Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items.
  • Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car is a bonus.
