About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our team in the Barnsley area. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective setup of fixtures, attractive product displays, and well-stocked shelves in a range of high street retailers on behalf of iconic brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Standards: You will adhere to merchandising standards, store policies, and health and safety guidelines, implementing planograms to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You will arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You will set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You will build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, providing accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams.
Requirements
  • Experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, using initiative to find solutions.
  • Pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items.
  • Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car is a bonus.
