Job Opportunity: Merchandising Manager

About the Role:

Zachary Daniels, a leading recruitment agency, is partnering with a growing Small to Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) based in the UK. The company is seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to establish and lead a merchandising function, working closely with the buying team to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to meet business growth targets
• Lead and develop a team to drive merchandising planning and execution
• Collaborate with the buying team to ensure effective product planning and sourcing
• Manage and analyze data to inform merchandising decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience in merchandising planning and execution, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and growing environment
• Experience working with product coming from the Far East, Subcontinent, and short lead times
