We are seeking a qualified individual to join our faculty team as a full-time Assistant Professor of Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialists. This role will provide support to the academic and clinical preparation of future AGCNS professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and revise the AGCNS curriculum to align with current healthcare trends and best practices
  • Engage in scholarly productivity as required by rank and tenure earning
  • Mentor and advise students in DNP projects and/or PhD dissertation work based upon experience
  • Contribute to an environment that promotes diversity, inclusivity, growth, equality, and freedom of speech
  • Develop continuing education opportunities and foster interprofessional learning experiences
Requirements
  • Earned Research Doctorate (PhD, EdD) in nursing or related field (required for tenure-track) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (Clinical Track)
  • Licensure as an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist in Pennsylvania
  • Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AGCNS)
  • Five years academic teaching experience with responsibilities for teaching graduate nursing programs
