Delkia Engineering and Technical Director Opportunity

Delkia, a specialist engineering & technology company, is seeking an experienced Engineering and Technical Director to lead our engineering and technical teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the engineering and technical teams, aligning their efforts with the overall business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the engineering department.
  • Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of top engineering talent.
  • Create and mature engineering toolsets and design processes.
  • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a high level of performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
  • Establish and distil engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes from an engineering and technical perspective.
  • Drive a culture of quality and excellence across all engineering activities.
Requirements:
  • A degree in engineering, preferably systems, electrical, control or power engineering.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within engineering or technical management.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, software development methodologies, and engineering best practices in highly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performance teams.
