Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage the EC&I Engineering Team: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring that all engineering activities comply with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Oversee Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of control systems, power systems, and instrumentation systems for various projects.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Conduct Technical Reviews: Conduct technical reviews and assessments of engineering designs and documentation.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage Subcontractors and Suppliers: Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and Maintain Engineering Standards: Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare and Present Technical Reports: Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Participate in Project Planning: Participate in project planning, risk management, and change control processes.
  • Ensure Effective Communication: Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the engineering team and across other project teams.
Qualifications
  • Chartered Engineer Status: Mandatory.
  • Degree Qualified: Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive Experience: Extensive experience in EC&I engineering, preferably within the power, nuclear, industrial, or aerospace sectors.
  • Proven Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of power systems, control systems, and instrumentation systems.
  • Excellent Industry Knowledge: Excellent understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Complex Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Engineering Software: Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Additional Expectations
  • Additional Certifications: Additional certifications or qualifications in project management or a related field.
  • Industry Software Experience: Experience with specific industry software and tools.
