Speech and Language Support Assistant

Supporting Children with Autism
Academics is seeking a Graduate to join their team as an Autism/Speech and Language Assistant. In this role, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to children with Autism, helping them with daily tasks, classroom activities, and communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to children with Autism, helping them with daily tasks and classroom activities.
- Support children to develop social skills, emotional regulation, and independence.
- Work closely with Speech and Language Therapists to implement personalised learning plans and communication strategies.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Psychology or Criminology.
- Compassionate and patient individual with a desire to help vulnerable children.
- Experience working in a similar role or experience with SEN is beneficial but not essential.
Working Conditions:
- Full Time (8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday).
- £80 to £90 per day.
