HGV Driver

Ashton Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV 1 Driver to join our client's team in Mallusk. This is a permanent position with a probationary period, based on time keeping, attendance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load vehicles for deliveries, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to, including weights and safe loading.
- Use tracking procedures at all times.
- Maintain driving hour rules and regulations regarding tachographs and Working Time Directives.
- Complete paperwork, including delivery notes signed and dated.
- Provide high-level customer service, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Clean category C+E driving license.
- Minimum of 1 year experience.
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Basic level of education.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in strapping and chaining loads.
