We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our team at a large manufacturing and logistics company based in Mallusk. As a HGV Driver, you will be responsible for completing two runs through the day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

The role will be permanent after a probationary period, based on time keeping, attendance, and performance. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, with start times between 6am and 8am, and typically 8 hour shifts.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Loading vehicles for deliveries, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Using tracking procedures at all times.
  • Maintaining driving hours rules and regulations regarding tachographs and Working Time Directives.
  • Completing paperwork, including delivery notes signed and dated.
  • Providing high-level customer service, aiming to exceed customer expectations.

Essential criteria include:

  • A valid UK clean category C+E driving licence.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience.
  • A valid CPC and digital tachograph.
  • A customer-focused approach.
  • A basic level of education.
  • Flexibility with working hours based on business needs.
