Business Operations Coordinator

KMK Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Coordinator to join their team in Cambridge. As a key member of the Private department, you will provide administrative support to fee-earners, ensuring the smooth running of client/matter lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars for assigned lawyers, scheduling calls and meetings.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the Firm's billing systems and processes.
  • Support fee-earners in preparing and issuing timely and accurate bills to clients.
  • Liaise with Credit Control as required.
  • Manage travel and expenses for assigned fee-earners.
  • Ensure all documents are maintained and filed.
  • Prepare, amend, and proofread documents in the Firm's house style.
  • Assist fee-earners in keeping their LinkedIn profiles up-to-date.
  • Organize business events and ensure business expenses are captured and approved.
  • Support the fee-earning teams in using existing tools and technology.
  • Contribute to requirements gathering for new technology and solutions.
  • Facilitate testing and engage other team members in pilots for new technology.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role supporting a team in a similar professional services environment.
  • Excellent IT skills across MS Office and business management applications.
  • Ability to manage calendars for multiple individuals and apply judgement to ensure the best use of people's time.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver work to a consistently high standard of precision.
