About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Management Officer to join our Document Management Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical and digital incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring that all documentation is processed efficiently and effectively.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Document and Mailroom Manager to assist in overseeing document control, mailroom operations, and Hybrid Mail support. You will be responsible for monitoring the work of the Document Management Team and ensuring that all mail is processed correctly.

About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic team that opens and directs mail to various departments within the authority. As a Development Management Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders and contribute to the smooth operation of the Document Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the Document Management Team
  • Ensure all documentation is processed to required deadlines for both physical and digital documents
  • Work closely with the Document and Mailroom Manager to oversee document control, mailroom operations, and Hybrid Mail support
  • Monitor the work of the Document Management Team and ensure that all mail is processed correctly
