We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Vascular Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive elective service to adult in-patients and outpatients, with a focus on Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs) and Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT).
Main Duties- Providing a responsive and comprehensive OPAT service, facilitating safe discharges into the community and maintaining Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) in the Organisation.
- Inserting Vascular Access Devices (VADs) using ultrasound scan guidance, including Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs) and Midline devices.
- Working autonomously in managing complex caseloads and participating in clinical audits to improve patient outcomes.
- Training patients for Home IV Therapy and providing education to junior staff and multidisciplinary teams.

Person Specification- First-level registration as a nurse.
