Based in Daventry, this exciting opportunity is part of a close-knit team under the supervision of an experienced Transport Supervisor. As a key member, you will contribute to the company's mission of providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently.
To succeed in this role, you will possess exceptional organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. You should be self-motivated, ambitious, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to work within a fast-paced office environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as experience in managing and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also have a proven track record of working with Microsoft packages and have experience in transport planning, preferably within the recycling industry. Knowledge of UK geographical information, financial knowledge in vehicle and driver costings, and experience of KPI reporting to explain performance and target areas for improvement are highly desirable.
In return for your expertise and hard work, you can expect a competitive salary between £28,000 and £29,500 per annum.
