We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Ringway Jacobs. As a key member of our highway maintenance operational team, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of highway maintenance and construction projects.

About the Role

As a Highway Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and directing a small highway maintenance team. Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out and taking responsibility for a variety of skilled tasks, including carriageway, footway, drainage maintenance, and minor civils works.
  • Ensuring that all works are completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Receiving daily briefings and understanding risks and control measures required for the task to communicate to other members of the team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Highway maintenance experience, with a strong understanding of health and safety and its impact on the workplace.
  • A current, valid driving license, with LGV class 2 as desirable.
  • The ability to carry out safety, quality, and environmental audits and risk assessments.
  • The ability to take responsibility for traffic management, including 12 A/B Traffic Management.
