Job Description

At Generation, we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Accounts Manager to join our Partnerships team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing new employers, managing and growing relationships, and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a pipeline of employers and key contacts across various sectors through targeted outreach and efficient sales strategies.
  • Build a network of channel partners to maximize job opportunities for Generation graduates.
  • Call and meet with prospective employers to secure their commitment to recruit learners from Generation Bootcamps.
  • Ensure there are sufficient vacancies to support bootcamps at course completion.
  • Identify and reach out to other companies, authorities, and CSR groups who may be able to support or promote employer outreach.
  • Build promotional collateral to highlight the value of Generation to employers.
  • Organize and run events, meetings, and presentations to inform and inspire prospective employers.
  • Track and report on progress regularly, escalating issues and risks as they are identified.

Requirements:

  • A strong sales background with experience in B2B settings, securing new business, and strong negotiation abilities.
  • Stakeholder management skills, with confidence in managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to working in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment, as well as some evidence of having worked independently.
  • A network of potential employers for our programs would be a plus.
