Arco Academy is seeking a skilled Part-time School Guidance Counsellor to join our team in Southwark, London. As a key member of our pastoral team, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide guidance, support, and encouragement.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide individualised support and guidance to students
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans
- Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children or young people
- Understanding of child development and learning principles
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive induction programme, we offer ongoing professional development opportunities, including training in pastoral care and student support.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
