Job Title: Regulation and Policy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulation and Policy Manager to join our team at Field. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the regulatory and policy landscape for energy storage, driving innovation, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective regulatory strategies to support the growth and development of energy storage in the UK market.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including policymakers, industry experts, and regulatory bodies, to influence policy and regulatory decisions that impact the energy storage sector.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory matters, ensuring that Field's operations and business strategies align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on regulatory developments, identifying opportunities and challenges that may impact Field's business and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and regulatory bodies, to ensure that Field's interests are represented and that we are informed of relevant regulatory developments.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in regulatory affairs, policy development, and stakeholder engagement, preferably in the energy or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of UK energy policy, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex regulatory information, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
