We're seeking a skilled Oil and Gas Data Expert to join our team at Assala Energy. As a seasoned professional in data engineering and consulting, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our company through the creation of data-driven initiatives.

In this exciting contract opportunity, you will work closely with our teams to develop predictive systems that enhance industrialization, production, storage, and maintenance of machine learning models.

Main Objectives:

  • Develop advanced predictive systems that optimize industrialization, production, storage, and maintenance of machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with business teams to provide actionable insights through data-driven analysis.
  • Design and implement the data platform's infrastructure and data architecture in close collaboration with the Data Engineering Consultant.

Our competitive salary range is $160,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you have a strong background in Python, SQL, dimensional modeling, Power BI, Git, CI/CD, and VSCode/PyCharm, and proficiency in English and French, please consider joining our dynamic team.

Requirements:

  1. Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in data engineering or data science consulting.
  3. Strong expertise in cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, DataBricks, or Snowflake).
  4. Proficiency in Python, SQL, dimensional modeling, Power BI, Git, CI/CD, and VSCode/PyCharm.
  5. English and French language proficiency is highly valued.
