Arctic Prediction Specialist

The Arctic Prediction Specialist position involves developing diagnostics and tools to monitor the Earth system, particularly in the Arctic region. This includes investigating connections between the Arctic and mid-latitudes, as well as evaluating the quality of initial conditions and forecasts using independent data sets and observations.
The successful candidate will have experience in evaluating interactions between the atmosphere and ocean/snow/sea-ice/land, as well as proficiency in programming and scripting skills.
