We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Progress Teachers Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about helping students with special educational needs thrive in a mainstream school environment.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and compassionate individual who can work closely with teachers, parents, and specialists to create an inclusive learning space. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the curriculum alongside students and teachers
  • Participating in goal-setting and target achievement with the SENCO
  • Fostering a positive and supportive environment for student growth and learning
  • Promoting a love of learning and education through engaging activities
  • Working full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience working with SEN students or those with learning difficulties
  • Safeguarding qualifications or a willingness to obtain them
  • CPDs in Autism/ADHD Awareness, Child Development, or Mental Health
  • A passion for helping and caring for young people
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a related field
  • A calm, friendly, and patient demeanor when working with children

The hourly rate for this position is £13.04 - £, depending on experience. Two years of experience are required for higher pay rates.
