Fluor and Energy Materials, an Orbia business, is seeking a SHE and Regulatory Manager to lead the Safety, Health, Environmental, Industrial Quality, Security, and Regulatory requirements for the UK operations.

This role will provide leadership, professional, and specialist technical advice to plants, projects, and UK corporate offices by managing the SHE and Industrial Quality system across all company's UK locations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the functional leadership for external interactions with regulatory bodies such as the HSE, EA, BSI, and Koura/Orbia corporate HSE functions.
  2. Manage all regulatory licenses and permits.
  3. Provide oversight, direction, and support the process safety management (PSM) and behavioural safety improvement processes across the business.
  4. Manage, via team, the deliverance of a technical training and competence management system.
Requirements

A graduate in a chemical or scientific discipline with a NEBOSH diploma is essential. An established technical background with 10 years' experience in a production or operations environment and a minimum of 3 years in a regulatory position for an upper tier COMAH site (or equivalent) is required.

Proven experience with management systems including design, implementation, and auditing (ISO 9001/14001/18001) is necessary.
