Job Title: Transport Planner

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in planning and delivering transportation services to meet our clients' needs.

Job Purpose:

To utilize our fleet and services efficiently, plan and execute transportation programs to farms on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work to minimize environmental impact by reducing waste, increasing recycling, and promoting sustainable practices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of farm orders, input orders into the system, and communicate effectively with farmers.
  • Meet order requirements, communicate deviations to relevant parties, and strive to work within allocated transport budgets and KPIs.
  • Monitor driver training, equipment, and mentoring to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records to meet audit and legal requirements.
  • Ensure all work complies with company health and safety and environmental policies.
  • Provide out-of-hours mobile phone cover.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Packages.
  • Decisive decision-making skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Experience with planning software (desirable).
  • Experience in Transport Planning (desirable).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
