Job Title: Transport Planner

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering transportation services to meet the needs of our clients.

Job Purpose:

To utilize our transportation resources efficiently, plan and execute transportation services that meet customer requirements, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinate with drivers, farmers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations.
  • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, improve recycling, and minimize environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of transportation planning software and Microsoft packages.
  • Excellent decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
