At TeamResourcing, we are seeking a skilled Senior BEMS Project Manager to join our TeamBMS team in London. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will work closely with the BEMS Project Manager to lead the commissioning process and ensure smooth system operation.

Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £67,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage the commissioning of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS). The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of BEMS systems, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Read and understand the BMS scope and the interaction and relation with all M&E specifications.
  3. Raise technical queries / RFI's.
  4. Attend project design meetings.
  5. Use standard documents to produce:
    1. Schedule of Deliverables
    2. Interface Matrix
    3. Network Architecture Drawings
    4. Functional Design Specifications
    5. Points Schedules
    6. Technical submittals
    7. RFI's
  6. Issue design information to panel manufacturers and review panel wiring diagrams for accuracy.
  7. Create a project interface matrix to manage any interactions with other packages to ensure scope gaps are covered across project specification documentation.
  8. Understand, oversee and manage the production of BEMS software and graphics.
  9. Assist in commissioning and point to point testing and Commission Control Panels (CP) to monitor and control mechanical systems.
  10. Manage the commissioning of the BEMS system and the interaction with M&E systems, including but not limited to:
    1. Mechanical Systems
    2. Air
    3. Hydraulic
    4. Electrical Systems
    5. Energy Monitoring and Metering
    6. Lighting
    7. Fire Security
    8. Smart technologies
  11. Ensure any project handover documentation is managed to ensure it is ready at handover.
  12. Ensuring handover of fully operational BEMS Systems.
  13. Work in a high pressure and fast-moving environment.
  14. Undertake other duties as required.
  15. Liaise with Operations Manager, Project Engineers, other staff, subcontractors, and clients as required to carry out this role.
  16. Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BEMS experience is essential.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications (full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent).
  • Tridium or any other BMS experience, Trend, Cylon, Schneider, Distech, Delta etc.
  • Proven track record of delivering BEMS systems.
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of BEMS.
  • Experience working with BACNET and or Modbus.
  • Ability to understand and adapt system software and graphics.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Valid CSCS or ECS site card.
