**Velindre Cancer Centre: A Leading Role in Radiation Physics

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Radiation Physics Service, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiation physics and leadership, with a proven track record of managing teams and implementing quality management systems.

**Salary:** £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description
  • Lead the Radiotherapy Physics Service, overseeing the planning, development, delivery, and monitoring of training programmes for Velindre and Wales.
  • Ensure the maintenance and development of the Quality Management System to ensure national accreditation.
  • Provide expert scientific advice to staff within Radiotherapy, Radiation Services, and elsewhere in the Trust.
  • Promote research and innovation within the field, working closely with the Director of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering.
