This role involves safeguarding children and young people, identifying risks, and managing those risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and managing risks to children
  • Securing and supporting alternative homes for children, including those in and beyond public care
  • Undertaking assessments of need and risk, planning for outcomes, and reviewing in line with procedures
  • Undertaking specialist assessments within the Criminal Justice arena, including assessing needs and risks and undertaking child protection processes and investigations

This role is a statutory position requiring a minimum of 3 days a week in the office. You must have Social Work England Registration, the right to work in the UK, and an Enhanced DBS issued within the past 12 months.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between £36,000 - £54,000 depending on experience and location.
