Head of Hospitality Job Description

We are seeking a kind, caring, and motivated Head of Hospitality to join our team at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hospitality service are provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and lead the hospitality team to deliver a smooth and efficient dining experience for residents.
  • Ensure the dining room is prepared, cleaned, and set up to a high standard.
  • Work closely with the Chef to ensure meals are served in a timely, presentable, and correct manner.
  • Manage rotas, training, and supervisions for the hospitality team.
  • Support and assist visitors, and inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
  • Ensure all training given is adhered to, and records and reports are properly written up.
  • Manage, allocate duties, and supervise the hospitality team to ensure a quality delivery of care.
  • Coach staff and participate in ongoing development of staff.
  • Take responsibility for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Requirements:
  • Dining or Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team is essential.
  • Participation in activities organized in the Home is essential.
