Head of Hospitality

We are seeking a kind, caring, and motivated individual to join our team as a Head of Hospitality at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre. This exciting role involves leading a team of Hospitality Assistants to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage the Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to provide high-quality hospitality services.
  • Ensure dining room preparation, cleanliness, and setup are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate meal service, ensuring timely, presentable, and correct delivery.
  • Lead and develop the hospitality team, including rotas, training, and supervision.
  • Support and assist visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Inform the Chef of individual resident requirements and preferences.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensure all training is followed and records are properly maintained.
  • Manage and allocate duties, supervising the hospitality team to deliver quality care.
  • Coach staff and participate in ongoing development to promote safeguarding and welfare.
Requirements:
  • Dining or Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
  • Effective communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Participation in activities organized in the Home is essential.
