We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Practice Plus Group, the UK's leading independent provider of NHS services to over 40,000 patients in secure environments.

Estimated Salary: £46,500 per annum FTE (full-time equivalent), depending on experience.

As a Substance Misuse Healthcare Specialist, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, prioritising patient care to develop individualised packages of care through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning. You will deliver a range of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions in both group and 1-1 settings, with recovery at the centre of our healthcare wellbeing model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive assessments and development of individualised recovery plans
  • Delivery of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions
  • Liaison with prescribers and Recovery Practitioners on clinical interventions
  • Support in group work delivery and occasional dispensing support

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse with current NMC registration
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
  • RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake
  • Sound clinical substance misuse knowledge
