Role Summary:

This part-time project manager role is based in London, working closely with the Defending Rights Project Manager to deliver a programme of work on migration and climate change.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional who can support COIN's mission to enable people to move from awareness to action on climate change.

The successful candidate will have strong research and writing skills, as well as experience in campaign planning, event management, and web support.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development of COIN's Defending Rights project, which focuses on raising awareness about the human rights impacts of climate change.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To assist in the planning and delivery of COIN's Defending Rights project, including research and campaign planning.
  2. To manage events and web content, ensuring they align with COIN's strategic objectives.
  3. To provide administrative support to the Defending Rights Project Manager, including maintaining accurate records and databases.

Person Specification:

  • A first-rate degree in a relevant subject area, such as environmental science or international relations.
  • Proven experience in project management, campaign planning, and event management.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and communications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • A commitment to COIN's mission and values, with a strong understanding of the intersection between climate change and migration.

Salary: £30,000 per annum, pro rata for part-time work.
