About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Psychologist to join our team at The Harley Street Clinic in London. This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week over four days.

This role involves providing psychological support and care to patients undergoing cancer treatment across HCA London services. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting patients and their loved ones receiving cancer treatment, including palliative care
  • Providing bereavement support through signposting to relevant services
  • Offering advice to non-psychological colleagues on caring for patients
  • Evaluating patient psychological needs and applying appropriate treatments, including referrals to psychiatry when necessary
Requirements
  • Registered Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
  • Knowledge of cancer management and psycho-oncology experience
  • Bereavement experience or end-of-life care expertise
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration
  • British Psychological Society (BPS) Membership
  • Advanced communication skills training or teaching qualifications
