Job Responsibilities

The Commodities Credit Specialist will be responsible for analyzing client creditworthiness, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

This will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of credit assessments, as well as communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate financial statement analysis, ideally gained through an investment banking or institutional brokerage environment. They should also have experience in reviewing clients that operate in the commodities sector.

Competencies required include:

  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify key trends and patterns
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and guide others
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills, with ability to adapt to changing priorities

A competitive salary is offered for this position, estimated to be around £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
