About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as an Assessor. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

You will use your clinical knowledge and skills to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to understand the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life
  • Produce reports to support the DWP's decision-making process
  • Develop and maintain your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular training and feedback
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • 1 year's post-registration experience in a relevant field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
