About the Role

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor at Maximus, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will work on complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical and mental health conditions.

The role requires you to conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.

You will develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision. You must have a valid HCPC registration number and at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
