Clinical Pharmacy Technician Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacy Technician Manager to lead our clinical pharmacy technician team and medicines management services across the busy York & Scarborough hospital sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide dynamic leadership and support to all pharmacy staff working within clinical services, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical pharmacy services, including the development of new policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services and promote a patient-centered approach.
- Monitor and analyze clinical KPIs and performance statistics to ensure efficient operation of the medicines management service.
- Participate in the departmental clinical learning monitoring group to ensure that near misses and incidents are reviewed and actioned appropriately.
- Conduct clinical pharmacy practice research and implement new and current SOPs and training documents.
- Mentor and support the training of Pre-registration Pharmacy Technicians, Medicines Management Pharmacy Assistants, and other members of staff.
- Masters degree or equivalent in depth experience and knowledge of at least 5 years in management role.
- NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Services/BTEC level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent nationally recognized qualification.
- Certificate in management or equivalent training and experience, including effective and legal recruitment, appraisal, and performance management.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
