We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Therapies Team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people with a range of needs.
Key Responsibilities- To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy interventions that support children and young people to participate in occupations of childhood.
- To develop integrated care plans in partnership with children, young people, and their families, recommending and supporting interventions that are appropriate at a universal, targeted, and specialist level.
- To work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary and multi-agency team to provide high-quality care to children and young people in line with our care pathways.
- To manage a caseload of children and young people with complex needs, prioritizing their needs and providing timely interventions.
- To participate in clinical supervision and work collaboratively with Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Care Coordinators, and Specialist Nurse Advisors to provide support and guidance to colleagues.

Person Specification- Registered Healthcare Professional with an Occupational Therapy degree.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the area of practice.
- Practical experience in managing health-related projects and complex caseloads.
- Desirable: experience with Microsoft Office and various IT packages, including E-Pay, E-roster, AT-P, and Rio.
- Essential: evidence of continued relevant professional development and implementation in practice within the last 12 months.
- Desirable: understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance relevant to the care setting and its application across healthcare services.
- Essential: ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines; ability to communicate complex, sensitive information to individuals and groups.
- Personal Attributes: ability to motivate and organize others to ensure best practice; ability to manage and lead change; flexible and adaptable.
