Occupational Therapist for Children

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Children's Therapies Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate a range of occupational therapy interventions to support children's participation in occupations of childhood.
- Develop integrated care plans in partnership with children, young people, and their families, recommending and supporting interventions at universal, targeted, and specialist levels.
- Work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team to provide high-quality care to children and young people in line with our care pathways.
- Manage a caseload of children with complex needs, prioritizing and coordinating care to meet individual needs.
- Participate in clinical supervision and work collaboratively with Therapy Assistants, OTs, PTs, SLTs, Care Coordinators, and Specialist Nurse Advisors to provide support and guidance.
