We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a small multi-academy trust focused on improving SEND provisions in the South West.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the EYFS, KS1, KS2 or KS3 curriculum, and at least one year's experience of working in a learning/childcare setting.

Responsibilities will include assisting students with SEND in accessing the curriculum and achieving learning goals, helping students build confidence and independence in their learning, and working with teachers to deliver and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.

The successful applicant will have a flexible, adaptable and positive attitude to working in a structured environment, effective communication with colleagues, and skills of empathy, listening, communication and the ability to respond to unexpressed need.

They will also be willing to undertake further training that will be offered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
