Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Priory Group.
Job Purpose:To work within the psychological department and support and enhance the professional psychological care and assessment of service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake protocol-based psychological assessments of service users, applying psychological tests and gathering information from service users and their care teams.
- Assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans, working with service users and their care teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Co-facilitate therapeutic groups and one-to-one sessions, working with service users to address their mental health needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, presenting and sharing relevant information with colleagues.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and support the training and development of other staff members.
You will be expected to apply your knowledge of psychology in your work, under the supervision of an experienced and HCPC-registered practitioner psychologist.
The Assistant Psychologist workload is managed under supervision and goals agreed in weekly supervision sessions.
